My love for design began as a child, exploring model homes with my mother and imagining beautiful spaces of our own. I spent weekends in décor stores, arranging pillows, art, and accessories inspired by the colors and textures I loved. From my father, I learned the value of hands-on work — watching him repair, build, and problem-solve around the house. I was always curious, looking to help and figuring out how things worked, which now informs my hands-on approach to design.
In college, I decorated my dorm and apartments, making every space feel like a retreat — even on a student budget. Friends often came to me for advice, and I didn’t yet realize this hobby would one day become my career.
After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Toledo, I worked in the medical field but longed to express myself creatively. After a period of prayer and reflection, a simple project for a friend reignited my passion, and SúJuan’s Décor began to grow. That first project, shared on social media, quickly led to more clients, and slowly but surely, the business flourished into what it is today.
Through the challenges of entrepreneurship — from missed appointments to learning how to execute every detail myself — I have grown not only as a designer but as a business owner. Today, I specialize in luxury interior design and home staging, blending style, strategy, and human-centered design. I execute much of my work hands-on, from painting and accent walls to installing fixtures and styling spaces, which allows me to bring each vision fully to life.
Every project I take on is designed to transform more than a space — it transforms the way my clients feel in their home. My goal is to create interiors that are luxurious, intentional, and a reflection of the life you want to live.
